Before and After - My First Edit

I am a newbie to photography and editing, but I just can't get enough! I took this picture of my daughter as she was being prepped for eye surgery. I didn't take my big camera so it was captured with a Cannon point and shoot!

I edited this in PSE7. I used the healing brush tool to even out her skin. I am sure I adjusted the contrast and saturation. I then took a bubble overly and reduced the opacity and removed the bubbles from her face. I cropped it a little. Love any constructive criticism. I have so much to learn!
